This initial pilot program is open to any interested staff, faculty, and/or administrators in Ezra Lehman Memorial Library. If you do not fit this description, you are welcome to follow along; however, I will not be able to offer you any official technical support.
This learning 2.0 project is designed to encourage participants to experiment and learn about new and emerging technologies that are reshaping the context of information on the Internet today. The objectives of this program are to:
- encourage exploration of Web 2.0 and new technologies
- provide participants with new tools (that are freely available on the Internet)
- future-proof participants' skill sets by providing a way to learn through several exercises
The Ezra Edition is strongly grounded in the following: Nebraska Library Commission: Nebraska Learns 2.0; Maryland Libraries Learning 2.0 (and 2.1); TENN-SHARE Learn and Discover; and the original PLCMC Learning 2.0 programs. You will probably recognize many of the descriptions from one or several of these programs. Program content adaptations used with permission from original program authors.
This online program was mostly built with Web 2.0 technologies that are freely available on the Internet.
